Mimo Backfin Blues Counseling Center provides behavioral health care in Iowa, serving adults and children through licensed outpatient services. Our center delivers intensive outpatient treatment for substance use disorders and integrated care for co-occurring mental health conditions. With over twenty years of community presence, we emphasize clinical accountability, evidence-based practices, and individualized programming. Our work supports recovery, balance, and consistent participation across mental health and substance use treatment services.

Our Mission

Mimo Backfin Blues Counseling Center's mission is to provide compassionate and comprehensive outpatient mental health services to individuals and families in Iowa. We are dedicated to promoting healing, growth, and resilience by offering intensive outpatient treatment for substance use disorders in adults and children, as well as integrated outpatient treatment for substance use disorders and mental health in adults and children. Our goal is to empower our clients to achieve lasting recovery and emotional well-being through evidence-based practices and personalized care. We strive to create a safe and supportive environment where individuals can find hope, build resilience, and restore their lives.
